  • Light- Bright, indirect light is best. They love being near windows but avoid direct afternoon sun, which can dry them out. Artificial light works too, but they need at least 6-8 hours daily.

Water- Soak weekly, submerge the entire plant in room-temperature water for 20-30 minutes once a week. Shake off excess water- always let them dry upside down for a few hours after soaking to prevent rot.

Air Circulation- Good air circulation is essential- don't keep them in  enclosed containers without ventilation.

Temperature & Humidity- Ideal temperature: 50-90 degrees Fahrenheit (10-32 degreese Celsius). They love humidity, but too much moisture without airflow can cause rot.

Blooming & Pups- Air plants bloom once in their lifetime, producing unique flowers in pink, purple, or red. After blooming, they produce pups (baby plants) that can be separated when they're about 1/3 the size of the mother plant.

    Extra Tips

If your air plant curls inward, it's thirsty. If tips turn brown, increase humidity or mist more often. Avoid copper or treated wood, as they can harm air plants.
